Dress Code

Steakhouse, Not Sports Bar

The fastest way to feel out of place is to dress like you are going to the gym. The fastest way to fit in is to dress like you are going to a nice dinner afterward, because you can: the kitchen is open.

✅ Gets You In

Collared shirt, quality polo or a nice top. Dark jeans or chinos. Loafers, boots or clean dress sneakers. A blazer or sport coat is welcome, never required.

⛔ Turned Away at the Door

Athletic wear (sweatpants, basketball shorts, jerseys), tank tops, flip-flops, Crocs and beach sandals, ball caps, torn or heavily distressed denim.

👟 Sneakers?

Yes if they are clean and closer to a dress sneaker than a running shoe. Beaten-up trainers do not pass.

👗 For Women and Couples

Same standard: a dinner-out look. Dresses, nice tops, heels or flats all work.

The long version, with outfit examples: what to wear to a gentleman's club.

No Photos of Entertainers

Phones are fine for texting and paying. Photographing or filming entertainers or other guests is not allowed.

🤝

Hands Off, Unless Invited

Entertainers set the terms of every dance. Follow their lead and the staff's instructions. More in our etiquette guide.

🍸

Topless, With a Full Bar

North Carolina does not allow fully nude entertainment where alcohol is served. We hold an ABC permit, so the show is topless and the bar is real.

🥴

Arrive Sober Enough to Stay

Showing up already drunk ends the night at the door. Management can refuse entry or remove anyone who is disruptive, without refund.

Tipping

Bring cash for stage tips, and ask the price before a dance starts. Our tipping guide covers the rest.

Quick Answers

Plan Your Visit: FAQ

What are Capital Cabaret's hours?

Open every day of the week, Sunday through Saturday, from 6PM to 2AM. The bar runs all night and 747 Chop House, the kitchen inside the club, serves late.

What is the dress code at Capital Cabaret?

Think steakhouse, not sports bar. A collared shirt or a nice top, dark jeans or chinos and real shoes will get you in. Athletic wear, tank tops, flip-flops, Crocs and ball caps will get you turned away at the door. A sport coat over an open collar is always a safe step up.

How old do you have to be to get in?

18 and over with a valid government-issued photo ID. You must be 21 or older to drink. Bring the physical card.

Is there a cover charge?

Admission is free before 9PM every night. A cover charge applies after 9PM. Call (984) 382-0485 for tonight's rate and for pricing on special events.

Is Capital Cabaret topless or fully nude?

Capital Cabaret holds an ABC permit and serves alcohol, and North Carolina law (G.S. 18B-1005.1) does not allow fully nude entertainment on premises that serve alcohol. So the entertainment is topless, with a full bar.

Is there parking?

Yes, a free, well-lit lot at 6713 Mt Herman Rd with Tesla charging. No valet and no parking fee.

Do you serve food?

Yes. 747 Chop House serves a full menu inside the club: ribeye, burgers, wings, chicken alfredo, salads and desserts, late into the night.

Do I need a reservation?

No. Walk in any night. Reservations are for group seating, bottle service and private VIP suites; call (984) 382-0485 to arrange them.

Can women and couples come?

Yes. Women, couples and bachelorette groups are welcome every night.

Still have a question? Call (984) 382-0485 any night after 6PM.
